Comprehensive Eye Exam for All Ages
Whether you are having unexplained vision issues or needing your yearly eye exam, we are happy to schedule you with one of our great doctors. Our comprehensive eye exams help us identify, diagnose and treat serious eye conditions in a timely manner. Getting a diagnosis and starting proper treatment early can make a difference for your overall quality of life.
At our office you will be provided with a selection of quality frames, lenses, and contact lens selections that are best suited for your needs.
During your comprehensive eye exam, we will look at:
- Overall medical history
- Visual acuity
- Pupils
- Peripheral vision
- Eye movement
- Eye alignment
- Eye pressure
- Prescription for glasses or contact lenses
- The surface of the front of your eye
- Retina
- Optic nerve
Each component of your comprehensive eye exam can reveal crucial information about your ocular and overall health. Your eyes are the “window” to the rest of your body. In fact, the eyes are the only place in the entire body where blood vessels can be observed. We will make sure you are fully informed on important steps to take care of your vision.
Contact Lens Fitting
Our office is happy to provide contact lens fitting and training to our patients that are good candidates. We use trial lenses to help train on proper care and insertion/removal at your contact lens fitting appointment. Our doctors will assess the lens fit, comfort, prescription, and vision improvement. Sometimes it will take multiple pairs to find the perfect fit and our doctors will make sure you are happy with the end results.
In most cases we will ask you to come back in at least two weeks for a follow up visit to check the lens fit and overall vision. If you are satisfied with the lenses and there are no changes to be made, we will provide you with your contact lens prescription.
Emergency Eye Care
Our doctors can provide emergency services for urgent eye health matters. If you experience an eye emergency, please give us a call so that we can evaluate your condition.
